Liability / Terms and Conditions of Use / Data Protection

1. Exclusion of liability and copyright
The Internet site offers information that is frequently updated. You can save the information and set up links to our site. In the case of links to commercial providers, this website must be the sole element in the navigator window, however. The information may not be changed or be falsified. The site is protected by copyright.

2. Content of own sites
Any liability for completeness, quality or ensuring data is up to date is excluded. All offers free of charge are non-binding. The editor reserves the right to change, amend, delete or discontinue publication at any time without prior announcement.

3. Links to Internet sites of third parties
The published links are researched and listed with as much diligence as possible. The editor does not have any influence on the current and future design and content of linked sites. The editor is not responsible for the content of linked sites and does not claim the content for her own. Solely the providers of the website to which reference is made are liable for damage incurred through the use or non-use of information due to illegal, incorrect or incomplete content. The editor is only responsible for references to other sites if he or she has positive knowledge of such, i.e. including from possible unlawful or penalisable content, and it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent usage of such.

5. Data protection
We  adhere to data protection laws and regulations as set out in the Telemedia Services Act (Telemediengesetz – TMB) as well as the Federal German Data-Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG). We store technical data that has been rendered anonymous, e.g. IP addresses, referer and navigation data when our website is visited for statistical purposes and to optimise our Internet presence. The data is not used to identify visitors to this website personally and is not compiled together with data on the holders of the pseudonym. Personal data is only collected if this is necessary for use of the services offered on the website, in particular for services offered on forms. Use of our services offered on forms is voluntary. We shall treat the data you provide strictly confidential.

Under § 5 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) providers of teleservices for business purposes are obligated  to keep certain information easily recognisable, directly accessible and permanently available. What information is subject to this imprint obligation is set out in detail in this law. Labelling obligations of providers are expanded considerably by this law. While under the previous law it sufficed to state names and addresses on the website, a host of additional information obligations apply now.
